INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP CELL (IIPC)
Aim:
The Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) is established to bridge the skill gap between institute and industry. A key challenge in engineering education today is the need to continuously adapt to the evolving requirements of the industry. The IIPC addresses this by identifying industrial expectations and promoting institutional preparation to meet these needs. It facilitates R&D projects, seminars, workshops, and various industrial training programs. Additionally, it aims to equip faculty with the latest technologies and make students industry-ready by providing exposure to current industry practices and enhancing their ability to adapt to changing technologies. A crucial focus of the IIPC is to interact with leading industries in India and to expand its efforts in establishing partnerships with industries globally in the near future.
Objectives:
Developing close links between Industry and Institute through interaction programs.
To encourage industries and organizations to provide placement and training opportunities for students.
To organize industrial training and industrial visits for students and faculty.
To organize industrial exhibitions to showcase the research facilities and expertise available at the institute.
To encourage industry collaboration in internship programs and in-plant training initiatives.
Organizing seminars, symposiums, exhibitions, and workshops on the latest technological advancements, evaluating project work, and facilitating industrial visits through collaborative efforts between industrial experts and institute departments.
Expanding and effectively implementing research and development (R&D) and consultancy activities between industries and the institute.
Encourage young executives to become successful entrepreneurs.
Industrial testing conducted by faculty and technicians either on-site or in the laboratory.
Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between the institute and industries to strengthen their emotional and strategic connection.
