VELAMMAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY gives immense emphasis on maintaining a ragging free campus. Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted with Principal, Vice Principal, HoDs, Faculty Members, Hostel Wardens, Student and Parent Representative. Along with Public representatives as RDO, Inspector of Police, Woman Inspector of Police, NGO representative.

If any student has any grievance in the nature of ragging, including any kind of harassment, the same can be brought to the notice of the Chairperson or any of the Committee Members of the institution, for necessary action and redressal.
