What we do?

Velammal Institute of Technology is committed to conduct examinations with high standards and without any hindrances to cater the needs of students for their academic excellence. The Exam Cell is constituted since the inception of the college in 2008. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and accredited by AICTE, New Delhi. It strictly follows the norms and regulations prescribed by the university in line with the NEP 2020. The college follows the semester system, each year two semester examinations are conducted without any deviations and glitches in a smooth and conducive manner.

Before sending the students for the external university semester exams, three internal assessment examinations and one model examination is conducted through the exam cell of our college. All the internal examinations are conducted on par with university examination following all the norms strictly to help the students to face the internal examinations without any fear and with confidence. Only 25 students are made to sit in an exam hall and proper distance in seating is also maintained. This allows the students not to indulge in any kind of malpractices during the exams.

Students are very studious in preparation and they move smoothly with the system of examination in ease. Hall tickets and Identity cards are made mandatory to write the internal exams to bring more seriousness among the students. Question papers are tailored equal to the quality of university examinations following the Blooms Taxonomy.
